ASHA Foundation works for street animals and birds, providing free treatment for the city of Ahmedabad. Mr Harmesh Bhatt, a law student from Pune university, started the ASHA Foundation 3 years ago. The facilities include a mobile clinic, a hospital and shelter service.
To provide free treatment to all street animals and birds, removing them from pain and trying to give them a new and healthy life.
To make a perfect hospital for street animals and birds and start a sterilization project to reduce the city’s street dog population.
ASHA is funded solely by public donations. Animal lovers, temples, churches, companys and some local NGOS donate to the foundation. We really appreciate any donations, however large or small.
