| During the festival of UTTRAYAN i.e. on 14th January itself there were approximately 4000 birds who were victim of that particular day. Before hand our institution had appointed more VET doctors and helpers with ambulances for that particular day. We had rescued nearly 1500 birds on that single day.
As mentioned earlier in Ahmedabad city itself there are approximately 3 lakhs stray dogs, most of them are either starving or have some or the other skin problems. Today, nobody in the world bothers about the animals and the problems they face. We, the people of Asha Foundation are trying our level best to give them the best possible treatment and to help them to survive. In our Ahmedabad city everyday there are nearly 20-27 dogs that die of Rabbies or 5-7 who die due to cancer. Hence to reduce the number of such cases we wish to develop our foundation and to make it more equipped and well managed so that we can save more lives. |
